Our preferred abrasive blast media of choice for sandblasting swimming pools in Sydney is crushed glass or crushed garnet. These media come in a range of sizes, 30/60 mesh, 20/40 mesh and 80 mesh for garnet are the most commonly used and for crushed glass we use either 0.3-0.8mm or 0.8-1.5mm for pool restoration projects.
