Depending upon the requirements of your site we will use either dry blasting technologies or our advanced wet blasting/dustless blasting technologies to remove paint from brickwork or stone surfaces. We use a variety of blast media/abrasives to undergo the brick paint removal process. Keeping in mind the hardness of bricks, whether the building is heritage listed or not, thickness of current coating to be removed and many other factors we will carefully choose the right abrasive and abrasive size to get the job done as safe and as quick as possible.
All though the name suggests it, our company will NEVER use silica sand as a blast media as it poses a great risk of exposing the operator and his or her surroundings to silica dust, as an alternative we use only SILICA FREE blast medias for every project such as crushed glass or crushed garnet.
