Our 12mx7m blasting and coating bay allows us to complete jobs of all sizes, for all industries including commercial, industrial, domestic, rail, mining.
Our Abrasive blasting methods are able to remove a multitude of surface contaminants including rust, paint, mill scale(scale) to name a few. All of our in house sandblasting is performed within the strict guidelines of AS1267.4 to a number of blast classes including class 2, class 2.5 or class 3. At Aeroblast quality is our number 1 goal and is always assured through continual quality assurance tests and monitoring such as surface profile tests, humidity/climate testing, surface temperature and coating thickness.
Only the highest, cleanest grades of blast media is used in our sandblasting machines which is hand selected due to the projects requirements. We use either steel, aluminium oxide, garnet or glass bead in a number of different particle sizes depending on the specific requirements however we have access to a range of other media should they be required.
We offer a drop off/pickup service with a 4.5mx2.4m 2 tonne tray and a 5 tonne forklift. With a 5 tonne forklift for loading and unloading.
Our abrasive blasting methods can be used on a number of substrates such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, timber, concrete and stone.
Our protective coating applicators work closely with a range of paint manufacturers including but not limited to: Dulux, Carboline, Jotun, International Coatings and can recommend suitable products and coating systems. To cover all industry needs our team use top of the range airless pumps, pressure pots, conventional spray guns and brush/roller application methods with the following products:

Paint is always applied to manufacturers specification, conforming to the below Australian standards.
ABRASIVE BLAST STANDARD – AS 1627.4
PROFILE – AS 3894.5
WET FILM THICKNESS – AS 3894.3
DRY FILM THICKNESS – AS 3894.3
DEWPOINT/HUMIDITY – AS 3894.7
Coating thickness is monitored via wet film thickness (WFT) measuring by the applicator during the coating process and once dried one of our supervisors will check the dry film thickness (DFT) to ensure all coating requirements have been met.
Our goal is to provide an in-house abrasive blasting and coating service that is second to none by using state of the art equipment operated by only the most experienced technicians who are excited to form long term relationships with new clients.
